Here's a short how-to video on screencasting (capturing your computer screen while you narrate) using Screencast-o-matic. I've recommended Jing in the past, but this one has some nice features that make it a great choice for you and your students:
I'll be doing a workshop on this and general screencasting tips on Thur- Fri 1/31 and 2/1/13. All faculty, staff and students are welcome. We'll meet in the library classroom for the first half of each block.
Just used this in a Spanish class. The students saved their videos in mp4 format and uploaded to Google Drive. Worked great!
